Meet our Staff
Megan McCarter graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from Pomona College where she played 4 years of college basketball. She was member for the 2008 Teach For America Chicago Corps. Megan has earned her Masters in the Art of Teaching with an emphasis in Special Education at National-Louis University and is currently enrolled in the Summer Principal’s Academy at Columbia University. Megan teaches Financial Mathematics and Pre-calculus, and serves as an academic advisor. She is also the varsity girls’ basketball coach, and has helped lead the team to back-to-back league championships.
D’alonte Burns graduated with honors with a B.A in Broadcast Journalism from Lewis University where he played 4 years of college basketball. He is also an alumnus of the Noble campus class of 2007. D’alonte is finishing up his first year at Rowe-Clark where he follows the footsteps of his father, the late Ronnie Burns, one of the founding staff members of Rowe Clark. D’alonte also grew up on the Westside of Chicago. He was the first in his family to graduate from college. He then decided to come to Rowe-Clark and be a positive role model by giving back to the Noble Network what was invested in him during his time in high school.
Maria C. Reyes attended Wells Community Academy in 1997. She was a recipient of the Ralph Colton a leadership scholarship earning a full ride to the University of Michigan. Maria received a B.A. in Psychology in 2002. Additionally, Maria received a M.A. in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2005. She went on to attend John Jay Criminal Justice in New York where she earned a M.A in Forensic Psychology. Maria is a proud member of Sigma Lambda Gamma National sorority Inc. Currently, Maria works at Rowe-Clark MSA as the social worker and founding staff member. In 2011, as an advisor, she graduated 13 young women in the first graduating class at Rowe-Clark.
