Aliyah studied English with a focus of Creative Writing her sophomore year of high school at Beloit College. She received money from merit-based scholarships for her program. During Aliyah’s junior and senior year of high school she was awarded an internship at the Field Museum of Natural History and an internship at Exelon respectively. Aliyah now studies English and Biology with a focus of Physician’s Assistant Professional track at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA. In addition to that, Aliyah is also a recipient of the Rowe Scholarship Fund.

Andrew is from Ecuador and was a non-native speaker before he enrolled at Rowe-Clark for his junior year. He is Currently attending Beloit College and intents to major in engineering, nursing, or computer science. Throughout his junior and senior year, Andrew was able to achieve many accomplishments, regardless of the language barrier. One of his accomplishments was increasing his rank from 118 to 13 out of 119 senior stuents, and graduated with a 3.8 GPA. In Addition, Rowe-Clark helped him obtain a summer intership with ComEd, which allowed him to get hands in training, meet new people, and gave him a sense of what to expect after his college graduation.

Heather studied criminal justice, photography, and psychology her sophomore year of high school at the University of Colorado-Boulder. She received money from merit-base scholarships as well as the Rowe Scholarship. She is now attending Mary Baldwin College.

John attended The University of Maryland’s summer of a Lifetime program. He stayed there for two and a half weeks, and studied Business Entrepreneurship. As a senior, he ranked number 13 in his class of 122 obtaining a 3.6 cumulative GPA. In addition to that, he is also a recipient of the Rowe Scholarship Fund. John is currently attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Eboni studied at Wisconsin University Summer Science Institute during the summer of her sophomore year. She is going to be studying at Bradley University in August of 2012. She plans to major in journalism and pursue her career as an international journalist.

David studied at Standord University during the summer of his sophomore year.
He also represented Rowe-Clark at Earth Hour in 2010 where he spoke at a press conference on the importance of the enviorment to his generation. He is going to be studying at Denison University in Ohio in August of 2012. He plans to major in Economics and a foreign language. He hopes to pursue a career in Latin America encouraging economic policy change and promoting educational opportunities.

Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy Scholarship Opportunities
The Clark Family, Rowe Family, and Exelon Foundation generously support Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy alumni with the financial resources to attend best-fit match or reach colleges. The purpose of these scholarships is to ensure that all Rowe-Clark Alumni make it to and through colleges to attain associates and bachelors degrees. These scholarship funds are available to any alum who applies during their senior year of high school, and they are renewable annually.
