Meet Our Principal

Brenda Cora, a Chicago Native, began her Noble career as a student. She was a part of “Nobles first everything”, graduating at the top of her class. Like many of our Noble scholars, she went on to college and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Gender and Women’s Studies at Grinnell College. As a college student, she was a cashier and greeter at Wal-Mart.

After graduating, Ms. Cora began her professional career at Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy as the Dean of Students. She resided at Rowe-Clark for six years in this position. For the 2013-2014 school year she took over as our Principal and leader of the school. Ms. Cora says, “ I share many of the same experiences as our students: grew up right down the street, attended a Noble school, and I’m the first in my family to attend college. It is rewarding to be able to be a role model to our students and show them that no matter what challenges they face, with hard work and persistence, success will follow.” She is excited to provide a safe and focused learning environment for our students at Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy.
